American Wine Society’s National Tasting Project Finalist
We’re thrilled to announce that Pellet Estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon has been selected for this year’s National Tasting Project by the American Wine Society. With over 8,000 members from 180 chapters, The National Tasting Project is an educational wine tasting opportunity for AWS chapter members across the United States. Each year the NTP committee chooses a theme and selects several wines that show different styles within a theme. Chapters hold tastings to sample the wines and then see how their ratings compare to other AWS chapters. This year the National Tasting Project 2019 is a terroir study of the Napa Valley, and they have selected 12 wines for the tasting, with four of them being Cabernet Sauvignon. Each year their committee tastes thru hundreds of wines from a particular world-wide region or varietal and pare them down to a group of 12. Being selected as 1 of the 4 Cabernets that they feel represent Napa Valley is quite an honor for us. More
